The group includes five Universities – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE, Karnataka), Sikkim Manipal University (Sikkim), American University of Antigua (Caribbean Islands), Manipal International University (Malaysia) and Manipal University Jaipur (Jaipur). Manipal University Jaipur was launched in 2011 on an invitation from the Government of Rajasthan, as a self-financed State University. MUJ has redefined academic excellence in the region, with the Manipal way of learning; one that inspires students of all disciplines to learn and innovate through hands on practical experience.

Department of Mathematics and Statistics

Department of Mathematics and Statistics has been operating there ever since with the goal of providing outstanding education and a conducive atmosphere for research. Teaching, research, and student development are all balanced priorities in the department. The department boasts eminent professors with outstanding research backgrounds and exposure from top universities. The group has made a commitment to offering excellent education with the goal to support research in both the fundamental and related fields of mathematics and statistics. Students can succeed in both mathematics and statistics in their pure and applied forms.

Indian Association for Reliability and Statistics (IARS)

The Indian Association for Reliability and Statistics (IARS), established in January 2014 under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012, aims to promote statistical education and its practical applications in both academia and industry. Recognizing the growing importance of advanced scientific and technological developments, especially in Reliability Theory and Engineering. IARS serves as a vital platform for researchers and professionals. It annually organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, and meetings to foster innovation and knowledge exchange among scholars in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, and related fields. These events encourage young practitioners to present new ideas and applications that contribute to the discipline. IARS also publishes the International Journal of Statistics and Reliability Engineering (IJSRE) (ISSN: 2350-0174 print, 2656-2378 online), a peer-reviewed journal that disseminates high-quality research and supports the Association’s mission of advancing statistical science and reliability engineering.
